TUDOR is the official partner of Alinghi Red Bull Racing.
TUDOR is proud to be the official timing partner of the Swiss team Alinghi Red Bull Racing. Founded in 1994, the team became the first European team to win the America’s Cup in 2003. This year, they will compete once again to bring home the oldest trophy in international sport.
In the lead-up to the 37th America’s Cup race in October, TUDOR presents the special Alinghi Red Bull Racing team watches: the Pelagos FXD and the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition”.
Both models are crafted from carbon composite, titanium, and stainless steel: just like the AC75 boat that competes in the race.
To celebrate its partnership with Alinghi Red Bull Racing, TUDOR introduces two Pelagos FXD “Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition” models, featuring numerous firsts for TUDOR, and not only in watchmaking. In 2022, TUDOR and Alinghi Red Bull Racing entered into a long-term partnership, marking TUDOR’s first venture into the world of competitive sailing. In this centuries-old sport, victory is achieved by combining a bold mindset with cutting-edge technology. These watches were born from that philosophy, featuring an exclusive blend of carbon fiber, titanium, and stainless steel: the same materials used in the hydrofoil racing yacht, the AC75 (America’s Cup 75).
Pelagos FXD Chrono
This is also the first time TUDOR has integrated the Manufacture Calibre MT5813 chronograph into a case with fixed strap bars, a titanium bezel, and a fabric strap. This watch is designed to ensure crossing the starting line at precisely the right moment.
